    Is this possible?
humanities are my strengths but I don't want to set myself up to fail... would psychology be better instead? (still have another facilitating subject!)

The skills and exam technique that you need at AS level are totally different to GCSE, so you could probably pull it off if you did Early Modern, that way your lack of knowledge of the actual GCSE content itself wouldn't do any harm as it wouldn't be related to what you were doing. I really wouldn't recommend it though - even if you think you enjoy the subject now, that might change once you get into a classroom and actually have to sit there being taught about it, and that's going to be even more the case if you didn't do GCSE.

Wasn't difficult at all, very enjoyable. You're practically taught from scratch and no knowledge is assumed

I'm doing History at A level and I got an A* at gcse. GCSE History exam technique is so different to a level that I would say it isn't needed and I am struggling with a level technique
