Is this possible? humanities are my strengths but I don't want to set myself up to fail... would psychology be better instead? (still have another facilitating subject!) I need 3 a's for the courses I want to do at uni!

    Hello,

I am doing AS history now and did GCSE's at a different school. So when I joined my new sixth form, I did a different exam board to my class so there are many topics that I had not covered before. Also it has got harder now so there are no past papers to practise or coursework in mine (OCR).

History is one of the hardest A levels but if your a hard worker and is motivated to revise right from September, then go for it! However if there is a chance for you to choose an easier A level that will get you to uni, I would strongly advise that rather than History because it's so difficult.

Maybe find out what you would learn about so that you can have a look online to see if you are interested in the content? That's what I would do, then you are prepared.

If you have any more questions, you are more than welcome to message me.
Hope this helped and good luck in your exams. X
