I am expected to get sufficient grades to go to university. I am currently interested in planning and would do a geography and planning degree. Although I thought if anyone has suggestions where a German degree will be useful if I want a career linked to geography? Please suggest, thanks!

Those A levels are fine. Not sure what you mean re "where a German degree will be useful" - you could combine German with geography, economics or planning/urban studies if you wanted to, that would be a very employable degree combination.

One potential is defintely transport planning if you have an interest im transport. I'm in my final year of a geography degree and I'll be starting a transport planning grad scheme in September. In terms of using your German, if you work for a big company there are ample opportunities to do placements abroad.
