    Hi,

Need some advice. Was thinking about getting a wristwatch but really don't know what to get (anything apart from metal strap one). Any ideas as to makes/brands/types? If you have one please could you post a pic of it/link to website?

    Thanks

I have this one. It tells the time, and looks OK enough to get positive comments from people who don't really care about watches. I don't hang out with anyone who does care about watches because I assume they don't have personalities. I also don't really like the strap, but whatever.

I really like Tag Heur but I know they are really expensive. You might be able to find a second hand one though.

A good watch is really an invest, so if it is possible, try to by a brand that holds its value for longer and is known for their quality and longevity.

Look at Seiko and Citizen. Don't just buy something because of the branding, Tag Heuer are NOT worth the money at all, even an old cheap quartz one. (I've been collecting watches for 4 years)
