This is the essay title for the law prize at my school. However, I am only in Year 11 and will be up against year 13 students who have got accepted into Oxford!

Any help on structure of the essay, language etc any sort of help would be very much appreciated!

1500 words (max.), thinking of doing it on:

    http://www.theguardian.com/society/2...ruled-unlawful

    Thanks!

Read the judgment repeatedly, read the judgment at first instance, and read previous judgments the courts relied on. Compare and contrast these different cases to gain a better understanding of the law and the sense contained within the law. Journal articles if you have access to them. Well-referenced throughout. Simple and clear use of language.
