1. how do you convert mol/dm3 to cm3? im confused do we multiply by 1000 or divide?
2. Divide.
3. There is 1000 cm^3 in 1 dm^3.
So to convert dm^3 to cm^3 you multiply by 1000.

If you want to convert from cm^3 to dm^3 you therefore have to divide by 1000.

dm3 ----(multiply by 1000)-----> cm3

cm3 ----(divide by 1000) -----> dm3

dm3, think of the d in dm3 as divide so to get dm3 you divide.

I dont know if that makes any sense to you or if it helps, hope it does
