Hi. I'm really struggling to choose between two subjects for my GCSE. Textiles or French? I really enjoy textiles (and i'm really good-or my teacher said so anyway) but I had to force my mum to let me take it because she thinks it is waste of time. I love languages but french verbs-not for me! Especially the irregular verbs. I'm already doing German so what should I do? Is doing another language worth it or should I do my favourite choice (textiles)?
    Pleeeeease help!

Pick whichever you enjoy more. If you're already doing a language them doing textiles will give you a bit more variety, and you can focus on becoming better at German rather than dividing your language learning between French and German.

French! Verbs and grammar isn't an issue, you only really need to understand them for the writing coursework - but the writing coursework your teachers marks and corrects and gives it back to you to learn anyway so there's no issue there. Sometimes in the reading exam there's questions which ask you to put the correct word in the sentence, but for the most part they are just nouns and you wouldn't ever need to consider tenses and such. Take French! (I am bias because I'm going to do it at a level haha)

Thats what I might do. Lots of people started french before me so them have much better experience.

Do textiles much more fun and creative than French. You're already doing a language and you can tell your mum these are good home keeping skills.
