C4 VECTORS HELP! - Intersection between vectors, circles and spheres watch

    Hi
    If anyone could give any insight on how to solve the following problems (pg 121 Q8-9 in the AQA textbook) it'd be much appreciated. Not sure how to even approach these Q.

    You know the equation of the circle is x^2 + y^2 = (5\sqrt{2})^2, you also know that x = 4 + \lambda and y = 7-2\lambda plug this into the circle equation, get a quadratic in \lambda and then plug the two solutions for \lambda into the x,y equations to get the coordinates.
