I didn't nominate a college on my application, was this a mistake? I have a university offer but no college offer, as yet!!!

You should contact the University and ask what to do. Normally you would have been nominated a college but that should have come through with your offer. Is it a post graduate offer?

If you didn't nominate a college when applying, you'll have made what is called an 'open application'. As above, you're usually allocated a college, however, in some cases you can also receive an 'open offer' in which your college is not yet confirmed. For undergraduates, if you have one of these offer types (though you will have been told if you do) your college is confirmed on A-Level results day, I believe. It might work a bit differently for postgraduate entry. If you're concerned, the university should be able to clarify your particular details.

Thanks for the help. I am a postgrad., or at least I hope to be, if everything goes well. I will contact Oxford next week.

Oh if you're a post grad then the system is a different story entirely.

We won't get college offers for about two months. Don't worry.
