Is Sport Science (level 3 BTEC) more/ less/ equally as respected as A levels to access a uni course at a top 20 sport uni? Do they see it as more specific so the better option or side with the stereotypical cliché definition of a BTEC sport student? Opinions would be appreciated :-)

From a quick search, it appears the top sports science unis all claim to accept sports and exercise science if you ve done science related modules but you will need D*D*D* to be considered for some of them, so a level students might be better off but still they ask for high grades in that too.

Do you know how difficult it is to achieve D*D*D* in comparison to AAA/ AAB at A level? Thanks for the reply btw

D*D*D* is more than possible if your willing to put the work in, as there is a lot of it so don't be fooled by thinking a BTEC will be easy!

Yeah I've heard they're hard work! I just like the fact that you do assignments and coursework, not having to regurgitate the knowledge on a 2 hour exam paper hah
