I personally found that allocating topics to revise to days rather than times was much more effective. I didn't have to worry about running out of time if a topic took longer than expected to go through, but I was still able to keep track of my revision and make sure I got everything done within a reasonable amount of time

I set myself two tasks per day. What tasks they are is entirely up to me. A task is something sizable, such as doing a past paper/essay, or reading through a half-chapter in one of my textbooks (there being 16 half-chapters in each).

Yesterday I did three tasks though: I read through a half-chapter, I did a past paper on the full chapter, and then I did an essay on another subject.

I don't set quotas of time that need to be achieved.
