    Here's the secret...

    Spoiler:
    Show
You've got to get 90% at A2 along with 80% overall for one A Level, and 80% overall for the other two.

Don't tell other people this, it's highly privileged information!

Is that 'weren't amazing' by TSR's standards, or 'weren't amazing' by normal people's standards?

I got A*AA with the A* in History. I'm not one of those naturally intelligent people. It was more a case of working my arse off! I worked every holiday without time off and it was tough! I managed to get a load of A* example answers and studied them to see the difference between mine and theirs. Took me from a B in History to an A* and in the others from two Cs to As.

As for which one to drop I would probably recommend dropping sociology, but your grades in each do come into this...

No I didn't mean that! That was in my AS marks (with a U as well - BCCU) and after a LOT of revision - I was working 9 hour days! If I wasn't working (*cough*gcses*cough*) then I get E/Us across the board

What I was trying to say is that I've got to work for really good grades, I can't just walk into an exam and get those marks.
