Pretty sure it just said a measure of spread that you couldn't work out before, so sounds like you'd be okay there

Yes that'd be ok.

Adding 4 to the Deominator makes no sense.

The probabilities are for a pool of 500 patients, so adding 4 will change the probabilities for each event.

You're looking at 4 patients outside the 500 sampled, so you will keep the same denominator. As you don't change the denominator, the arrangement of events won't change.
But then you can change the probability of the events? EG you can add 2 onto each category so I ended up with 150/504 X 149/503 X 68/502 X 67/501

ur 5 e and f are wrong. Question e asked about the diffference of the two which was 2.3 and f u had to do ur answer to the power of 6

One was 166.67 and 200/1.2 = 166.6666...
I Included it because it said 'at most 200' and I rounded to 2dp, but you wouldn't be wrong to exclude it, I wouldn't've thought. Not 100% sure what I did was necessarily right but I suppose if doesn't change whether or not the claim was valid

For the last part of Q3 you times by 6, as you wanted the number of ways of arranging 4 items where two sets of two are the same, so 4C2 = 6.
15. I found this paper pretty hard, even though I did all the past papers from 2010 onwards. Probably should have done more practice in the few days before the exam to make sure I was confident on all topics. Most likely will have to retake this next year, probably got like a B or C :|
