One whole person (iEthan) has voiced their support for this thread, so here it is.

How many have you eaten? How do you eat them? Have you stuck to the original fruit ones or have you gone rogue?

**No hot cross bun hate will be tolerated**

This thread has not been created with the intention of triggering people with coeliac disease. This is a safe space for gluten free hot cross buns.

Just this Easter period. I think I'm the only person who keeps a lifetime tally of hot cross buns eaten.

I grew up having all kinds of raisin bread/teacakes toasted, so I'm rebelling against it now by having all my hot cross buns untoasted.

Have you never tried any of the chocolate options? I've seen so many varieties this year, including double chocolate ones at Tesco.

More people are into having them toasted than I thought would be.

I'm so jealous. I can't eat any of the ones that contain dairy so I've been looking at all the luxury ones and feeling close to tears.

6 so far.

2 toasted cranberry and fig (not the best)

4 mini toffee ones toasted (again not the best)

The original plain and non fancy are the best.

I was going to call them alternative but most of the chocolate ones I've seen are labelled luxury even if they're dirt cheap.

I'm not vegan, I just can't eat milk for medical reasons.
