    Can someone please explain to me how Student Finance's travel grant works. I'm going to be studying in Texas for a semester in August and I know SFE offer a grant to cover travel expenses but I'm not sure how much I will be entitled to

    All I can find is about Erasmus students. But the amount you're entitled to, depends on your household income. The information I've found, can be found here

    I believe the Travel Grant only applies to Erasmus sorry. I know it doesn't make sense as Europe is cheaper and closer, but thats my understanding. I too did a work placement outside of the EU, and now I am on Erasmus after moving. No travel grant for non-EU, but travel grant for EU.
