Take notes, watch videos, talk to other students and teachers. Associating certain things with colours can help you to remember them, so underlining or circling things with a red or green pen, restructuring it into a spider diagram or something, turning it into a game, etc.

I used to play a game of solitare with physical cards while I was in class. I'd attach sticky notes to the back with questions or answers to questions and before I could move that card I'd have to answer it correctly. I'd do this in class in my free time and the teachers had no qualms with it since it was revision.

Actively doing stuff helps - go through past papers and try and answer the questions, then look at the mark schemes and see where you went wrong. It's boring, but you will learn
    AND YES TAKE NOTES!
