Will Britain remain in the Erasmus+ scheme in the event of a Brexit? watch

What it says on the tin, really. Erasmus+ membership is not limited to the European Union, but I imagine that Britain participates in the scheme by virtue of being within the EU.

If the UK votes to leave the EU, do you reckon it will remain a member of the Erasmus+ scheme?

(Slightly vested interest here: I want to take out a 2-year Masters loan to study in France, and you need to be a resident of an EU country to take it out - am hoping that even in the event of Brexit, the 2 year negotiation period will let me take out the loan!)

No idea, these are the things which should be being debated. :argh: But I think Norway and Iceland participate in the Erasmus+ scheme so there's hope.

Quite a few non EU states are either fully or partially involved
Macedonia Iceland Norway Lichtenstein and Turkey are program countries,

and partner countries, so only partial access, are Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Montenegro, Serbia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine (including Crimea and other occupied regions), Algeria, Egypt, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Palestine, Syria, Tunisia, and the Russian Federation (minus the bits of Ukraine being annexed or otherwise occupied, as they are being regarded as Ukraine)
