I only have a few good friends, I've dated and had a few none serious relationships only lasting a few months. But I find it quite upsetting how you can be so close and intimate with someone, and then once it's done, they are no longer even interested in seeing how you're doing. Wasting so much time and energy on someone who's essentially just going to disappear. Even if ended mutually and there was no arguments.

I was talking to one of my ex's a couple months ago, just over text and I kind of wasn't getting much conversation back, he didn't even ask how i was doing.
Its been a while since we spoke so i decided to drop him a text this morning (after 2 months) and its become clear he didn't really want to talk, because he pretended that he was in a relationship when I know for a fact he isn't.

Some people see dating as really casual, I wish i could too...

Often people don't want to talk to their ex as they want to move on and not think about their feelings for them. Or it may be that their partner wasn't very nice and they don't want to maintain a toxic relationship.

You can remain friends if both parties want to but if one of them doesn't want to, leave them to it. They have their reasons and if they don't want to talk to you why would you want to talk to them anyway?
