    You're doing 17 exams?? I'm only doing nine😂
    (Original post by Sage25)
I'm sure you'll do great. Those mock results are top drawer. I'm not even doing 14 subjects, so I'm not sure how you can excel!

If you have handled the workload so far, just remember it's 2 years of hard work coming to the end. You need to make it all worth it.

    Good luck with your revision!
Yea i'm doing so many exams (not by choice), luckily because i take art and i did one of my GCSE's a year early, i only have something like 27 exams but there are people in my year who have up to 34!
Thank you for the support, it just feels like a lot of work to be based upon one exam!

    Hi
My son is doing computer science. Unfortunately his teacher at school is not all that great.
Can you recommend any links for revision? Perhaps something on Youtube even?
    Many thanks

Well, if you've payed attention in class, then a lot of it is just refreshing your memory of what the spec entails. The notebooks are an effective way of doing that for me. It shouldn't really take long. If you can do a couple of past papers each day (not that hard), then you can be set in 3 or 4 weeks.
I agree, although the amount of time needed for writing any notes also needs to be taken into consideration.

My board is AQA for all three sciences.

Revising key terms I feel is important for the sciences (especially Biology), other than that revise like any other subject.

Knowing key terms will most likely score you more marks even if you don't fully understand the concepts behind them.

For Biology, I am highlighting key terms in red and any other general information in blue. If you are a visual learner, diagrams may also be useful.

As I have two weeks break for easter, the first week I want to try and complete my subject notebooks and the second start to focus on past papers and learning the mark schemes for each subject
Hi there. I'm on the IGCSE/CIE exam board for the sciences, but the information you need to learn is more or less the same. I like your idea of doing a notebook for each subject and I do agree that it will be helpful closer to the exams, but the subjects I do are quite big ones in terms of revision (Classical Civilisation, Geography and History). Despite this, would you say they are more helpful than writing your standard 2 hour notes a day?

Also, how do you cram a syllabus and two years of teaching into one notebook in a day?! Thanks

Good Luck with your revision everyone, my exams start so much earlier than everyone else(4th May)

So far, for Business and Computer Science I have been able to complete them within just over a day. This was with waking up relatively early and going to bed rather late. For the sciences which had much more content, I didn't complete Chemistry or Biology in a day, it was just too much work.

It's up to you to decide what is helpful for yourself. I think the subject notebooks are very useful but you should also focus much more on past papers. When they are coupled together, I would say the revision provided is very effective.

Good luck with your exams. Not long for everyone now!
