Are you sure it was you bleeding? It could have been him. That happened to me one time, I was panicking madly because there was a fair bit of blood. Then I calmed down when I realised it was from him :p:

Hello! I've been having sex with the same partner for about 10 months, I bled quite a bit the first time I had sex. Anyway, we had sex the other night and afterwards I was bleeding a bit, bright red but it had cleared up pretty soon. Any ideas what this could be and should I worry? This is the first time this has happened.

Could have been worse, could have been bright green :s-smilie:

As it was the other night it probably was her (if he'd snapped his banjo string, he'd have realised by now - if he didn't at the time).
Uh it might be just that you were being a bit rough. I wouldn't panic too much if it was only a bit and it stopped like pretty much straight away. However if starts to happen quite frequently I would go see a doctor!

I wouldn't worry too much about it, like someone said, you might have been a little bit rough :p: If it happens again, don't be afraid to speak to your doctor. It doesn't sound too worrying though if it's only happened the once, and doesn't happen again.
Is it painful? I always used to have a little bleeding when having sex with a condom (with a bloke in it obviously...haha). I think I was allergic to the latex of something cause it always hurt. Try maybe lube?

I'm with one long term partner now and am on the pill and haven't had any problems since

one off bleed wouldn't worry to much about though happens again go to your GP for advice , should resolve the problem completely!
This isn't uncommon. First of all, if you're on the pill it could just be breakthrough bleeding from that, because your body takes months to adjust to the new supplement of hormones. And secondly, he may be taking penetration either too deep for your cervix, or that your cervix hasn't widened. There are a multitude of reasons for this bleeding. However, just make an appointment with your doctor and they'll know what to do.
