    Hi all,

I was doing an ICT past paper after revising and I got an A*.... by only 2 marks.
That IS good but I feel like I can achieve better marks so can anyone advise me on ICT papers because I feel like the mark scheme is uniquely random?

    Thanks

    - Try and give common examples which the examiner will expect.
    - For the 6 mark questions, try and write as much as possible - anything related to that topic
    - If a question is worth 4 markers and it only asks for two thing, you are expected to add a "because" or an "in order to"
    - Always write something for every question - even if you know it's probably wrong. If you write nothing, you automatically gain 0.

Anyone else think the exam is too long? I always finish in about 50 minutes when the exam is 1hr 30?

Yeah, I agree too, though it is a benefit being able to go back through and develop each answer carefully as you have a lot of time left - i.e when we did a mock assessment in class, I wrote almost 1 and a half pages for the 6 marker (It's a lot, I know, but it ensured I got 6/6)
