    I'm also going to be 24 come september. My age caused me a lot of anxiety in the past about going back to my studies, because I saw it as a failure on my part.

    I realise now that everyone goes through life at different speeds. At the university I left there are a lot of Danish students who are all around 25 or 26 just finishing their degree, and that is not out of the ordinary in Denmark i'm told.

    I think in the UK kids are rushed into deciding what they want to study too quickly, and perhaps when they are not ready to give up some social time (which is just as important in my opinion) to study. I think it can work for some, but not others!
