My ex and I had an incredible relationship which ended with cheating on her part when we went off to uni.

That was 18 months ago. Since then, she has contacted me every now and then, seemingly when something crops up to remind her of me. She continued to do so despite having a new boyfriend and then suggested a meet up following their breakup. She has now got back together with him and the meet up is off.

Why do this!? Doesn't she realise she has a genuine effect upon me?!

    She cheated on you.

Block and delete her. Scrub her from your mind.

Send her a picture of you having sex. That should finally give her the message.

Tell her that you think it's best to move on and not keep in contact. She clearly doesn't know what she wants

Stop her from being able to contact you and don't agree to meet up with her in the future? You're allowing her to have this hold over you.
