Hi, I've received all of my offers now and I'm stuck between Bristol and Exeter, personally I feel the course is better at Exeter, it's a BA in History and Politics and for Bristol it's a BS in Politics and international relations. But the reputation of the uni is very important to me are the social aspects...help

go for where the course suits you and where you will settle best. Don't go on reputation or league tables. The big difference between Bristol and Exeter is the environment you will study in.
Exeter is a smallish city with a very green and hilly campus outside of the city centre.
Bristol on the other hand is a large city with a city centre campus. Only you can decide where you prefer.

Agree with above - 'reputation' is a nebulous concept at best and doesnt guarantee that you will like the course at either Uni.

Go back to basics - look at the course detail for all three years. Look at opportunities for Study Abroad and any other extras. Then think about the reality of living in each place. This stuff is far more important that 'reputation'.
