Hello, I applied for MSc 2016 and got an offer from the following 2 programs and I would like to seek for some info as I am finding it a bit difficult to choose which.
-University of Edinburgh - Science and Technology in Society
-Sussex University - Science and Technology Policy

(i)In general, University of Edinburgh seems more prestigious but when it comes to Science and Technology and policy/society studies, I heard that Sussex's program is famous as well.
(ii) I am particularly interested in military technology/disarmament and from what I read on the website, Sussex seems to have more strength in it but I am not sure.
(iii) I would like to seek a career in international institutions in a position related to policy/regulations and it seems like Sussex's program is better suited for it as it is focused on "policy" but I may be mistaken and I would like to know what other people think.

Hello, at the end, which university did you choose?
I am desperately looking for some who can give me some information about the programme at Sussex. I would like to apply for a PhD in Science and Technology Policy.
Do you have some advise, pal?
Thanks a lot and good luck with finals!!

Hi, please don't bump threads, if you have a question then start a new thread. igloorockon has not logged on for a year so they're unlikely to see your question, perhaps you should contact current PhD students/the faculty at Sussex directly?
