I have a friend at uni and we've been friends for a few months. We've become good friends as we hang out a lot, speak a lot and get on well together, or so I thought.

Very recently she has been cold towards me, giving me dead, one-word replies and not giving any effort in our conversations in person. I don't know why this is, I've not done anything to her that would make her upset or angry at me. This has been going on for about a week now.

What should I say to her?

Ask her if there's anything wrong and if so does she want to talk about it

Pretty much this, OP. Ask her if everything is okay, and whether or not she wants to talk about it. If she doesn't, then give her a bit of space and hopefully she'll come around.

It's best to ask her as above but it might not be anything to do with you, some people are just naturally like this after they get bored of a new friend.

It's probably because exams are coming up and she's really stressed out about them. You should know what studies can do to people.

Absolutely no grounds for taking it out on friends though.
