Hello everyone, I am going to firm UCL and am wondering about my insurance choice since the offer at UCL is a bit high and I might end up not meeting it. My options are two:Manchester and St.Andrews. I am not from the UK so I don't really know a lot about the reputation of the universities. I got a chance to visit Manchester last year and liked it but I haven't been to St.Andrews so I can't really compare the two. Which one would you recommend and why?
Thank you for your time!

Manchester is better, it has a long history of computer development with the first stored computer program.
St Andrew is a remote seaside town in Scotland.Last edited by Maker; 28-03-2016 at 16:09.

Manchester has a way stronger department.
St. Andrews is overrated beyond belief. Especially for CS.
