    I don't know why, I keep messing up the English exams ( in the mocks)
    How are you actually supposed to revise for them, because so far my only plan is to revise the night before and pray some how I do ok.

    Past papers, ask your teachers to mark them.

    --> revision notes

    -->type up the main quotes and themes

    -->Look at past papers and look at the questions and make a mind map of the possible things that you could talk about in the paper- then look at the mark schemes and see what you missed out on

    -->look at examiners reports- they have example essays in there too of what they like to read and what they don't like.

    -->Follow a structure when answering essays e.g PEE

    Make a grid for English Language topics such as when revising like 9 poems. Have 1 column for the context, 1 for the content, 1 for the themes, images and structure.That's how my teacher makes us revise.(VERY good way of revising). If you need to recap a book like Of Mice and Men or Jane Eyre. I'm studying Jane Eyre.......way harder than Of Mice and Men).Then recap what the story is about. Try some practise questions and for each character make maps.

    You cannot really revise for English language much but you can still have a look at past papers.
