Who else is keen on Maths? What's your story?
I was a tiny weeny kid with an incredible knack for numbers and geometry . I was ahead of my age group for maths for the longest time until I became bored with the school curriculum and ultimately regressed into almost failure. I attended university, found pleasure in some courses which I aced and then again became complacent and bored by the course content. I then encountered my dissertation and my passion for maths rekindled and I have since known that I was meant to do research.

Maths was the only subject I was particularly good at and it became a competition through school with my best friend to be the best in the year at maths and after my GCSEs didn't go to plan I decided I needed to step my game up so taught myself AS Maths in 8 days over summer and then when came back after summer have decided to do the A2 this year (year 12) and have become engrossed in the subject and want to do AS Additional Further Maths next year just to further my knowledge just because I find it genuinely interesting!

Was always a bit of a whizz when I was in primary, never really tried exceptionally hard it just happened. Same through GCSE's so i've always kinda just liked it :P> Currently studying it in year 13 and love the challenge of it. Not really sure why I used to like it but I'm happy I did!
