What would you have liked to know about your university before you went to study there?

Or if you're still applying to universities:

What do you want to know about the universities you've applied for?

What kind of information was hard or impossible to find?

Not uni specific, but just try to get as involved as possible from Year 1, and get some study habits in place. Sitting around and not doing much for the first year (even if it doesn't count) can be disastrous as it can be difficult to start studying properly from the next year onwards. (I seem to suffer from the reverse effect).

That the washing machines there were antiques and the floor of the laundry room vibrated due to the combination of dryers spinning and the lift being right next to the laundry. That vibration really unsettled me.

Partying is great but at the end of the day you're there for your degree...
