Hi there, had a question that is somewhat touched upon in the pregnancy FAQ but just wanted some further detailing and whether anyone could help. Me and my SO have been together for coming on a year soon and have always had sex without a condom as she is on the combined pill. However, I always pull out at the climax just for peace of mind. Recently however she has made clear she would like to try it and I'm certainly not against it. I know the FAQ makes clear the risk is minimal but I was wondering if her period would have any impact on this. We have and almost always have had sex on her period as neither of us mind, but I was wondering if the risk would be increased/decreased if I was to ejaculate inside her whilst on her period but she is on the pill, or whether it would be better to wait till she is off her period. Thanks for any help.

The periods on the pill are artificial assuming she took it properly for the past 3 weeks supposedly there ll be no difference in risk.
