    I believe it's not wasted

Career plans are getting sorted as we speak. I might probably be going back to my home country.

The course was too hard for me
What job do you have lined up/are you aiming for?

What would you say was the best aspect of your time at uni?

Where do you see yourself in 5 years time?

Aiming to be an Engineer in my home place.

Best aspect of my time at uni was doing whatever the **** I wanted to, whenever the **** I wanted to.

I see myself married to one of the girls in my uni I'm going to ask out.

Do you not care because you have a giant trust fund, or when you say you don't care do you mean you're simply refusing to acknowledge some obvious adverse consequences?

Where did you study and what course
(I understand if you don't want to be too specific)
Were your grades prior to going to uni in line with others'?

Hugh Laurie got a 3rd class degree from Cambridge and ended up earning ~£9 million per season of House MD. So there's always hope!

I'll never understand how someone can study for 3 years and get a third. Even in special circumstances, it's 3 years ffs. Not a month of exams. If you can't pick yourself up and kick on in that entire duration then you deserve this.

It's mechanical engineering so it can't even be because of exams alone. You must've flopped group work too.

    Fam I'm disappointed

**** Norwich. I'd hate to live there.
I've thought of a new TV series, a detective series based in Norwich called "Swallow". Swallow is a detective who tackles vandalism. Bit of a maverick, not afraid to break the law if he thinks it's necessary. He's not a criminal, you know, but he will, perhaps, travel 80mph on the motorway if, for example, he wants to get somewhere quickly...

What do you think? I mean, this will put Norwich on the map.

You mentioned that you plan to go back home so I'm assuming home isn't in the UK. Liverpool is a good uni. I'm sure plenty of countries overseas would be interested in a Liverpool grad with any grade at all.

Plus you might actually make a really good engineer if that's something that you're interested in- it has little to do with how you do on your course based on my (albeit limited) experience of a couple of internships with major companies.

Like the title says, Ask me anything.
    What course were you doing?
How do you feel about having wasted some many years and resources?
What did your parents say about it?

Clearly a difficult degree from what everyone says about engineering.
It's good you have something else lined up though. All the best.
