This is primarily for the Pakistani Punjabis but I guess Sikhs can leave there opinion. Honestly if wasn't for Islam how progressive do you think Punjabis would be? Let me speak from experience is that thought Punjabis are somewhat religious, not all of them are, if do go into facts, Punjab was one of the most progressive proviences, and still kinda of is, it's not religious, women defiently have more freedom there, it's not perfect but if it wasn't for the religious stuff I'd think it'd defiently be somewhat like Turkey. Most Punjabi people aren't that religious despite what you tell your self, how many Punjabi weddings have you been to where men and women share the tables, how many women actually wear a headscarf over a duppatta?

I don't understand your point but I'm a Pakistani Punjabi and yes we can be open but very narrow minded too, that I believe is due to religion.

I was actually saying that because of the religious standards that people hold there, not to say anything bad about pakistan! Compared to India Punjab , it is rather less progressive I think. I think that's a valid point

I think you're getting paranoid now

    Oops.

Of course we can be friends, we should either stop joking or stop being serious to avoid confusion

    I'm okay! How about you?
