Can you suggest what is wrong with me?

hello

well basically i'll list some things that have been happening to me recently (i.e. past couple of weeks - past 3/4 months) and you can suggest what the problem could be, if there are any. thankies

(i'm really sorry for the length btw)

- short menstrual cycle. usually my period comes every 28 days but for the past few months it comes every 21-24 days. so not only is it shorter, it's also quite irregular and unpredictable

- i sleep about 3/4 hours more than usual (i wake up later than normal) and can't find the will to wake up early even when the alarm rings and i really really should

- have started eating more than usual in the past two weeks and if i'm not eating, i'm almost constantly thinking about it even when i KNOW i'm not hungry

- sometimes flaky scalp

- moods are all over the place. i will literally go from laughing to a completely blank expression and then i'll feel sad and angry for no obvious reason

- can't concentrate. at all. especially bad when trying to revise

- urinating more often throughout day (very unusual for me as ever since i was v. young, i've always only urinated twice a day. and i'm not drinking more/less often either)

- constantly tired/sleepy

- feel dizzy a lot and sometimes i experience this really weird feeling (about twice a day, some days i don't get it at all though). but it's been happening more and more often - i get dizzy, i get this weird bzzzz sound in my head and i kind of nod off, but i don't? i'm still awake, but i don't know... it's weird. i can't control what i'm doing while this is happening and i'm half aware i'm awake/alive. then i come out of it and it feels as though years and years have passed. and i think back to things i did earlier on that day and it feels as though i did them years ago. literally.

- this is followed by the desire to vomit (i haven't actually done so yet though)

hmm i can't think of any more.

so if there's a doc in the house or something, that would be great. k thanks xxxx

p.s. could it possibly be stress?

We're not professionals. We can't diagnose you. Go to the doctor

Cool - it's a shame you can't afford the (free) NHS.

Ring them up if you can't be bothered going - it's not a big deal.

possibly pregnant? can be side effects of that.

low blood pressure or platelet count ?

or go to the doctor they will be able to confirm wot it is .

lol i'm only messing, jeeez

i was going to go see the doc and stuff but i just thought, y'know, they're pretty simple symptoms... nothing urgent really. i'll see him after exams i suppose and meanwhile next time i get bored, i won't make a thread on tsr. :p:

Cor it's like an episode of House!

Please, see a GP or phone NHS Direct if you're concerned. Don't try and diagnose yourself because you'll waaay overdiagnose and doctors just hate it when you walk into the surgery and tell them you have such and such!

(*not really, i dont know, you just desperately seem to want someone to diagnose you with something)

I have an accurate and definate diagnosis....

but however you'll have to go to your doctor to confirm it.

Some people are afraid of seeing doctors though. I am going to a doctor on Wednesday because of a problem I am having, and I am pretty scared. It is not life threatening (very much doubt it), yet I am still terrified!
