No, not really. The worst they can do is detonate a dirty bomb* in a major city such as London. Even then, it won't kill many people at all. Plus I live far away from major urban areas

Up to a thousand people killed by Islamists in Europe annually tops, nothing compared to road accidents etc.

*A dirty bomb is a conventional explosive surrounded by radioactive materials, and is nothing like a nuclear bomb. It simply spreads radioactive materials over a large area.
    That says everything really.

I think the most important thing is that we do not become afraid of them. That is what they want. Everyday terrorism is loosing (ISIS are loosing territory) and I think we should be grateful that we live in such a great country with a people united and productive intelligence service who together will defeat terrorism and their ideology.

No. If it happens it happens. You are much more likely to be killed in a car accident

Yeah not really, Britain is already under high security. My father knows a lot about this stuff and he assures me that there will not be a terrorist attack here.

    Ahem
Having spoke to a lot of police and security as I've had training in both areas... I think your dad is talking ****. The threat of a terrorist attack has never been higher in the UK.

Exactly, its all blown out of proportion, although it would be a lot higher without the extra safety procedures and intelligence services

No doubt, but unlike Brussels, we're not fumbling about in the dark. We are aware of the threat so having higher security in metropolis areas
