ok so which are better in your opinion? are you a towel girl/ are you a tampon girl? share your pros and cons, and tell me what you personally prefer. what works best for you especially on your heaviest days?
Im a towel user but i find them unreliable, so i guess id like to find out if tampons are better to use. but i hope this thread will help out those of you who are experiencing problems with whichever method you use.. and maybe those of you who are worried about using tampons (like me)

Not much of a debate in my opinion.
I think towells are disgusting- its like wearing a nappy- walking around in your own filth. Its uncomportable and messy and gets stuck to you. Dont even get me started about how revolting it is in the summer.

and tampons isn't walking in ur filth?^o)
I don't like tampons I use pads or "towels" if you wish. If you go to the bathroom enough times a day you won't be walking in your "filth"

Towels....I don't understand why some women use tampons all the time. To me they're only useful for swimming and I don't swim.

Wouldn't they absorb less? Plus there's the problem of them getting stuck...
Personally they don't sound comfortable to me but I suppose that's individual.

It depends, if you use a tampon with a high absorbency, they can hold a fair amount!

A friend of my mother's had to a tampon removed in hospital after the string broke.

Tampons. So definitely tampons.
They are way better for heavy periods in my opinion, they are cleaner and you can actually forget all about periods (for 4 hours at least..). And uhh, I have never heard of the string breaking, and even if it did it's hardly going to get lost, it would be a bit disgusting but you could get it out yourself! I think a lot of people are just scared of using them and so invent all these excuses, but unless your period is very light they're an infinitely more efficient way of dealing with things.
