Basically I got recommend to go for some part time modelling , i have never really thought of it as a career , I just typed in modelling agencies in birmingham ( as I live in bham ) and blackberry models came up . I sent my photos to them and they said i was successful , and had to come down for a test shoot next day , i couldn't go down as i had other things planned , after that day i thought i should atlas tell them why i wasn't there , i typed in blackberry models and clicked on a link to some reviews .... apparently its a SCAM ! People have been scammed into paying 100s of pounds :") , Which has got me thinking that theres going to be a lot of these out there ....

My question is does anyone know are real agency not a scammer ?!

Thanks

p.s be aware of blackberry models :")))))) hahah

Approaching modelling agencies 1st is not the way to do it.
The best modelling agencies will "spot" you. If you get a modelling offer simply by filling in an online survey, chances are, it's a scam.

The best thing you can do is increase your visibility. Go out more. The most famous supermodels were spotted in malls and stores. And in the meantime sigh up to Model Mayhem. This will give you the oppurtunity to walk and models for small businesses and clients without needing to be signed.
