Interesting article about Corbyn's spindoctor Seumas Milne. The typical public-school-educated, privileged hard leftist (Winchester then Oxford, father was a lord etc), he now appears to be the power behind the throne in the leader's office.

He is the one who takes the decisions when Corbyn has abandoned his responsibilities to go sit in his allotment (Corbyn outrageously said to a journalist that he often just ignores calls from the office, because then whatever issue it is becomes someone else's problem. This is the man who would be Prime Minister)

I went and found the quote from Corbyn about avoiding responsibility

Also I’m quite concerned that if I spend time in the office someone will always find something for you to do. There’s always a crisis that needs your urgent attention. If I wasn’t there, either the crisis wouldn’t happen or it wouldn’t need your urgent attention. But the fact I'm there means that it becomes my problem, not somebody else’s.
Can you imagine if he was Prime Minister he'd have to actually, I don't know, work and take responsibility. If he's just going to palm it off on his staff, do we even need Corbyn? Get rid of the middle man and put Shameless in the top job
