So a few months ago (January time) I signed up to DW Sport gym on a student membership. I now no longer want to be a member ans it was a 6 month contract however I recently left my university course so no longer am I a student.

Does this mean I can cancel my membership early as it's a cheaper membership plan for students and that no longer applies to me?

    Thanks!

Was a little cautious to do that incase they try to tell me I will have to pay full price membershup now instead until my contract is up

They can't do that because you signed a thing saying you're going to pay X until Y.

Doubt it. You need to read your contract terms.

From a quick scan it looks like 1 months notice, but the numbering is corrupted an its too early to read, so dont hold me to that.

    You cancel by ringing

I doubt there will be any option other than continuing to pay what you are currently paying until your minimum term is up. They are unlikely to just let you stop paying because you say you're no longer a student as they can still get money out of you, I also doubt they could insist on you paying more than you agreed to pay so it might be worth asking, but don't expect to get anywhere.
