I prefer Japanese films and had a Japanese gf so we watched them together a few years ago, the list goes on like hell
but I have seen Korean films as well

Oldboy was...ok. Weird plot twist, not very exciting throughout
My Wife Is a Gangster 1 was so funny; haven't seen the others
Seducing Mr. Perfect was good, the lead male role had some good as points about women and dating in general
I Saw the Devil wasn't as disturbing as it was advertised to be, if you wanna see disturbing look at Japanese films
    Speedy Scandal was very good
My Sassy Girl was nice, a bit long though, funny enough to keep me watching and not wondering what to cook for dinner tomorrow though, great storyline
Their horror films are ok none good enough to list though
Their romance comedies are a bit too melodramatic and they tend to get men in their popular films who look girly
Japanese is a bit more serious about their rom-coms I think
and more gory and in your face about horror
    Jpop>Kpop but that's just me.

Yes I love them. Considering its size then the film industry produces a goodly amount of high quality films. I've not really watched romance one and not sure the humour is for me, but action, some historical action and thriller/cop films as well as horror are things they excel in. They tend to be a lot edgier than Chinese films.

    Old boy
    Chaser
    yellow sea
    War of arrows
