I am planning on doing Further Maths but the syllabus shows that we need Statistics 1 and 2, as well as Mechanics 1 and 2, for Paper 2. I am doing Pure Maths 1,2 and 3 (which is what is required for Paper 1 Further Maths)but taking S1, S2, M1 and M2 in the same year is too much too cover.

Do students take P1, S1 and M1 in one year then P2 and P3, S2 and M3 in the next year? Or do they take three years to complete it?
Still, is it really necessary to do Paper 2 Further Maths, or can I just do Paper 1 in Further Maths and still get my A-level on Further Maths?
Please help me because I really do not understand any of these things.
