Hi, I got accepted into both Bristol and bath for maths and rejected from all my other choices. Really stuck on which one to firm as if I firm Bristol I would HAVE to go there ( because they gave me a lower offer than bath). Only deciding factor left is the nightlife. Heard the nightlife in Bristol is better than in bath and there's more to do. Can anyone tell me more about this so I can actually decide ? Just feel I would be happier at a uni that has better nightlife/more social stuff etc. Thanks

Bath is very good for maths and the surroundings are amazing as well. IIRC, they are very close to one another so I doubt you'll be missing out on the nightlife.

Bristol is a far larger city than Bath and naturally would have a far bigger choice of nightlife. However that should not be the consideration for going to a university. The key issue is course content and how comfortable you feel. They are essentially totally different environments. Bristol is a city centre university while Bath is a campus university slightly outside the city. Only you can choose.

If having a good night scene is essential for you then pick bristol

There's more nightlife in Bristol - I grew up there and it was always pretty decent.

Have you visited both? I wouldn't suggest firming one before you've visited it.
