    Hi guys,

I'm undertaking some research for my Law degree and I've been recording the interviews on my phone. I've started typing them up myself but it's taking forever. I've looked online and there's loads of companies that offer to type up recorded interviews but they seem quite expensive and also I'm not sure whether I can trust them with my research. Does anyone know if Uni's offer this type of thing? Who would I need to speak to about it? I asked in the library and they didn't have a clue what I was talking about.

    Thanks

You could use speech recognition software, but you'd have to manually go through and separate by speaker, since I don't think any do this automatically. You could speak to your tutor to see whether the uni provides dictation services.
