Hi, I'm doing the A453 programming controlled assessment and I've read that I need to test for typical data (valid), invalid data and extreme data (just at the boundaries of valid and invalid).

I'm doing the 'Arithmetic Quiz' task. When the program asks for the user's name (I have done it so that it asks for the first and last name separately), should I test for extreme data as well as typical and invalid? I know that typical data would be 'Bob' for example and invalid data could be '823', but what would extreme data be? Should I just not test for extreme data at all? I know that for names, the length of the name could be a possible extreme (e.g. no characters and 20 characters), but there are some names that are very long, e.g. Wolfeschlegelsteinhausenbergerdo rff, so what should I do? Any advice would be much appreciated.
