Is a week long enough to fully revise and prep for this exam?? That's all I'll have with my other exams

How long do you think it will take to complete the chapter on Application of Reproduction and Genes?
Not long once you've understood the main principles, can maybe finish it to good quality in 2 dedicated days? Maybe even 1 if you can work fast

any 10 marker predictions?

I have a feeling that both will be ecological based questions,

Perhaps describing the energy flow in an ecosystem

Inheritance (i.e genetic crosses), Plant reproduction, Human reproduction will all definitely come up.

For Ecology, I think deforestation will be the big topic because as far as I remember, haven't seen a major question on it since 2011.
I'm gutted that one of last year's essay question was on DNA/protein synthesis :/ The only thing I'm good at in BY5!

how do spermatozoa travel from the vagina to the fallopian tube?.

the are propelled from the whipping action of the flagellum.
What do you predict the essays will be on?

I predict either:

wind vs insect pollinated plants
genetic fingerprinting
polymerase chain reaction
and possibly..but idk, isolation, natural selection and evolution.

I haven't seen plant fertilisation as a 10 marker yet... But maybe I'm just being extra hopeful it isn't an ecology question.

Didn't like this paper :frown:
How did everyone find it?! That was pretty decent I think, apart from the meiosis question which I couldn't figure out haha
How many questions were in that paper in total?
