Hello I'm accepted to the following courses:

BA Graphic and Communication Design at the University of Leeds
BA Graphic Communication at the University of Reading
BA Graphic arts at the University of Southampton

I still haven't completely decided what to be my main choice and my insurance and I would be happy to see your opinion. Apart from the quality of the education and facilities, I wonder if the accommodation and living costs between each city/town vary much? Any type of fee discounts that a university could offer are also important for me.

    Thanks in advance

    Hi Brokenmind,

I am a student at Ravesbourne, and it is perfectly understandable that you haven't pinpointed which is your main and your insurance Apart from those factors, I would advise you to also look into the environment and as you stated accommodation and living costs.

Keep in mind some universities give priority to those who live further away for campus accommodation. The environment can also give you a feel of what type of living style you would have. Is it more quiet or busy? Is it close to town? Accessibility to supermarkets, shops.
In terms of discounts you would have to check directly with your university yourself, perhaps you get a discount for local restaurants etc.You can also look into getting NUS card for general discounts.

When you make your choice, keep in mind your insurance is a 'fallback' your safety net to get into a university of your choice. As well as the quality of the course and facilities, it is also the quality of your life style. You will be staying here for three years, make sure you're comfortable and happy where you are

    Hope this helps.
    Jay
