I have received an offer as follows: "By 5th August 2016, provide evidence of obtaining the Diploma za Zavarsheno Sredno Obrazovanie /the diploma in my country/ with 5.0 inthe majority of state examinations and 5.7 in final year subjects including Mathematics and Physics."

My question is does 5.7 in final year subjects mean the average out of all the years of study or simply just the average grade of my subjects from my final year of study in school only (which I would find very odd because none of the grades from previous years would be taken into consideration) ?

I think that your offer is about having an average of 5.70 of your final year subjects, as well as having excellent marks in Mathematics and Physics. After all, you have already given the university information about the grades you had in your previous years of study and you have received an offer based on that information and some more.
