Hi, I'm currently in year 12 and desperately want to study medicine. I've done a lot of research and decided that I would really like to apply to Oxford as one of my BMAT choices, because of its tutorial system, the traditional course structure, and the quality of teaching. My teacher at school wants me to start looking at Oxford Colleges now, and so I've done a bit of research; I was just wanting some feedback from anyone who has studied medicine at Oxford (or who has been told things) on any particular colleges (I know I can look at the fellows of any particular college online, but I want to know you opinions of them).

The colleges I'm strongly considering (and would really appreciate feedback on) would be:

Balliol
Christchurch (Probably first choice at the moment)
Exeter
Keble
Lincoln
Oriel
Teddy Hall

Any feedback would be great, just so I could get a more personal idea of how good/prominent the medical facilities and fellows are at these colleges.

Many thanks

Why do you like those colleges?

The list of fellow often doesn't reflect who actually does teaching. Asking current students, e.g. at open days, is a lot more reliable.
