I'm seriously considering going to DMU this September. I'm a big fan of green spaces, parks and grasses to walk through/sit in etc... Is there much of this around/near the DMU campus?

I'm very aware that the university is very close to the city, so I'm not expecting greenery to the extent of, say, Lancaster. However, I'd really really love there to be some sort of nature close by.

    Thanks in advance!

There are a few little parks about. Bede park is a lot bigger and gets pretty lively during summer
