I'm hoping someone can reassure me/tell me if this is something I should get checked out.
For just over a year now I've been tracking my periods because they've always been fairly unpredictable. For about 3 months I settled into something of a regular, albeit, long cycle, but then it steadily increased from about 32 days up until my last one which was 50 days after the one before. I thought it might just be a fluke so ignored it and then today I felt the tell tale twinges. The problem is that it has only been 26 days in between. It has gone from 50 to 26 days in one leap. I've also been having the worst cramps I've ever experienced and have been really dizzy all day to the point of barely being able to stand up. I'm not on any contraception that could be interfering with hormones etc. so that can be ruled out.
What do people think? I appreciate any help.

I'd suggest going to the GP and getting a blood test done and have them give you advice

Sometimes a change in routine i.e. stress, diet changes, exercise can interfere with the pattern of your menstrual cycle. I once was so stressed out from exams that I never had my period for 2 months.
However, I would still recommend a visit to your GP as it could be caused by a hormone imbalance which should really be diagnosed.
Hope this helps !
